    • Yes Shailesh, there are many offbeat places in the interiors of Uttarakhand. We recently explored rafting and bungee jumping in Rishikesh. It was a thrilling experience. You may refer our posts here – Rafting & Bungee Jumping

We have been to places like Kausani, Patal Bhuvaneshvar, Bageshwar, Jageshwar which are quite peaceful yet not crowded. You may consider to explore them

      • Thanks a lot.
How do I make my trip on a small budget as I feel transportation cost are fixed.
So where do I cut my expenses

        • Hi Shaliesh, you do not have extensive train network in Uttarakhad. Rishikeh, Haridwar, Dehradun and Kathgodam are the last stations. Post that, you may choose to travel by State Transport buses or shared jeeps. They have good frequency during the day time and would work cheapest. You may also hitch-hike 🙂 People in Uttarakhand are quite helping.
