We met this snake charmer at Hawa Mahal, Jaipur. A regular over there, he sits right in front of the palace on the opposite side. Quite jovial, he quickly struck a note with us and opened his pitara (basket) to show us his snake and started playing his been (wind instrument).

“What does your snake eat? Is he veg or non veg?”, we asked naively.
“He eats chicken and mutton pieces. Actually likes them”, he replied with a big grin on his face. 🙂
