Here is an account of Amar’s week long backpacking trip to North and Central Vietnam (Hanoi, Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue). Vietnam has a lot to offer starting from the beauty of highlands to its vast beaches beaches, vibrant culture to old heritage, delicious street food to its old coffee cafes where you can spend hours doing nothing.
Best part is ever smiling and welcoming people who never let me feel that I was alone on my trip to Vietnam. I returned from Vietnam promising myself that I would be back soon and this time for a longer period to explore this amazing land. Here is an account my Vietnam trip travelogues.

How to Buy Vietnamese Dong (VND) in India
For all people visiting Vietnam, we will suggest to carry dollars and exchange them to Vietnamese Dong (VND) once you land in Vietnam. You may get Vietnamese Dong in your country but exchange rates remain exorbitantly high. There are number of Currency Exchange Shops at all Vietnam Airports which remain open 24×7 and offer good exchange rate. You can get your dollars exchanged here for initial need. Gold shops in main markets of all Vietnam cities (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Saigaon, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An) also exchange currency and they offer slightly exchange better rate. You may get remaining dollars exchanged there later during your trip.
