It took us around 15 minutes as we walked 1 kilometer down post our visit to Wat Pho and soon we were on the road with flower shops on both sides and that was the start of Pak Khlong flower market. Though there are shops on the main road but main market is inside a street which further gives way to smaller and narrower lanes lined up with flowers as you try to negotiate your way through them.
Inside of the market are lanes lined up with colourful flowers on both sides and wet with water used to nourish these flowers. Though there are shops and few restaurants but you will not find anything special for shopping or eating. In case, you wish to buy some fresh flowers, you may certainly purchase from here. It is actually the experience of walking through the local flower market that you would love. With shop-owners arranging flowers on their shops, talking to their customers and hustle bustle of market, you will get a feel of being part of a local phenomenon at Bangkok, Thailand.
