Yes, Heritage and Taste. Because you can witness wonderful Bhutanese heritage in the Folk Heritage Museum and then just walk a little to try authentic Bhutanese cuisines in the Folk Heritage Museum Restaurant which is right inside the compound.

Museum has many exhibits on display over three floors that showcase the unique Bhutanese culture and heritage. At ground floor, there are utensils and bamboo/wood baskets, mats that are part of life for people in Bhutan (though not well maintained)
As you move and climb up to first and second floor, you find the granaries and vessels used for storage and cooking by Bhutanese. On display are wood utensils, dresses and shoes, swords and other arms, paintings and musical instruments which give a spectacular glimpse into the lives of Bhutanese since ages.
Post your museum visit, head to the restaurant in the Folk Heritage Museum compound. The restaurant has beautiful ambiance, outside seating and is considered to serve the best authentic Bhutanese cuisine. They have set menu including butter tea and both veg and non veg dishes.
Restaurant also has spacious seating inside but we preferred to sit outside on cushions while we enjoyed our meal and as heard, food was delicious and we ended up finishing it up despite having our lunch already.
We had a wonderful time both at museum and restaurant.
Folk Heritage Museum Location
Please click here for directions. Though a key museum but we found it difficult to locate the museum as only few locals were aware about this museum. This is located very close to National Library and thus inquire people about the library when you ask for the directions.

- Summer Timings (April to October) – Mon to Fri: 9 AM to 5 PM; Sat: 10 AM to 5 PM
- Winter Timings (November to March): Mon to Fri: 9 AM to 4 PM; Sat: 10 AM to 4 PM
- Closed: Sundays and Public Holidays
